I ventured over to the West Side yesterday to inspect the damage at the Intrepid. The tarp around the Enterprise is completely gone and the Shuttle looked great in the sunlight except for a tiny piece of the tip of the tail missing. Tourists were snapping-away. I understand that scaffolding will very shortly be placed around the Enterprise and a new pavilion will be built. I couldn't get close to the Concorde which looked great despite her placement right along the Hudson. The guys said the Complex should re-open in the middle of December.
