New Spotter at JFK

Hey guys, thought id introduce myself since this is my first post. My name is Stephen and I live out east on Long Island. I have been to JFK to spot 3 times now with my grandpa. These photos are from UN week. Does anybody have any recommendations or tips about spotting at JFK or aviation photography?

Lots of info here, make sure you check out the spotting maps, also the search feature is your friend when browsing the forum, there have been many posts about the photography side of things. Have a look at the 'prescreening' thread for folks asking for feedback on their shots

Welcome aboard Stephen. As far as spotting at JFK, take a look at the spotting guide on this website (from some of your photo's I think you've hit some of the popular spotting locations).

Welcome Stephen. Looks like you're off to a good start. As everyone mentioned, check the spotters guides and use the search function. And if all else fails, just ask a question. Everyone on the forum is more than helpful. I have learned a lot about aviation photography and photography in general from everyone on here.
