Yes I also heard this on the TV news last week. Very sad especially since we're trying to assist these people to defend themselves. Harriers have always been my favorite military aircraft since 1 performed by the Marines off Coney Island about 20 years ago. I even built 2 plastic models. Maybe it's time to pull-out of Afghanistan; but that's for a different forum.
