Does anyone know if the Ethiopian 757 left JFK yet? Last I saw, she was still here as of 9/28 in the afternoon.

Looks like an old AeroMexico nose.

Looks like the Qatar A310 is back from IAD. Either about to land on the 4's, or just departed the 4's, Planefinder is being a bit glitchy
Looks like he was departing, although the little circle he did was odd http://planefinder.net/flight/QAF008

Nice catches Mark. When I was checking Planefinder for the SAS coming into EWR, I saw the Kuwait A319 about to touchdown in JFK.
I guess it's not over until everyone leaves town...after spending a little money in our country.

Our friends from “U-Becki-Becki-Becki-Becki-Stan-Stan” came in 31R just a little while ago. Picture taken from home.

Kuwaiti A319 and Tunisia B737 departed earlier today. Tunis 01 was headed back home while KAC005 was headed down to Lima, Peru.

I rarely see it, so I wasn't sure and put it in here anyway. I think well all be ok.
Here are my photos of the better-lit UNGA visitors I caught over the course of 5 days. These 15 planes/photos were from 6 different runways:

Wonderful set Cary, that AF1 shot is among the best I have ever seen of that jet! And the Yemenia is, of course, quite nice as well

Let's just say they get the Presidential treatment. Mind you, I have NEVER heard them talk to ground control
AF-1: Kennedy Tower Air Force One is Ready.
Tower: Air Force One, RWY 22R, Fly RWY heading maintain 4000'.
AF-1: Could we use RWY 13L?
Tower: Air Force One, you can do whatever you want!
AF-1: Thank you, We'd prefer 13L departure.
Tower: Air Force One, you're clear for takeoff RWY 13L at your discretion, call the tower when rolling.
AF-1: Air Force One is rolling.
Tower: Air Force One RWY Heading to 5 DME then heading 150 and contact McGuire Approach on 124.15
That was the conversation about two years ago when they were parking by the triple hangars. Mind you JFK was on the 31s at the time
Once they did use RWY 22R instead of 13L for departure when they came in on 31R... but that was only once that I can recall...

Each and every time Air Force One and Air Force Two have landed at AVP over the past eight years, they've used 22 both to land and depart (arriving from the north and departing to the south).
I assume they must pick a favorite runway at most airports and use that same one each time.

All the other airlines waiting for the VIP to leave must have heard that runway changing decision and thought "Efffffffffffffffffffffffff".

A lot of it isn't just preference, but wind. If there's a 10 knot tailwind, it's unlikely you'll see that runway used for departure.

UN Week wasn't quite over yet - there were still a few country speeches this morning. 767KS departed around 1815.
