Hey guys,

I'm sorry I just don't know many details, but there will be a KC-10 at JFK on Tuesday. It will be departing around 12:30pm and landing again around 3:30pm. It will be the start of Air Force Week here in NYC. So, go get pics!

NYCA will be onboard, and I'll be posting pics and stuff afterward. HOLY #%#$^@!!!!!!

If you find out what runway please let us so know so we can get some shots. A little onboard inside info would always help. Thanks.

I'll try to keep this thread open on my phone to post. Otherwise I'm sure it'll be on whatever is active, and I'll definitely be able to send out tweets.

Damn! Have fun! I probably won't be anywhere near JFK until well into the evening. Any idea when it might fly past intrepid, if that's where it's going?

Just as an aside isn't Air Force week next week? Or did the dates change? Thanks

They'll probably stay at ACY for the weekend and just come up to NYC for the flyover,
instead of going to another airport before they head up to Brunswick, ME next week.

Saw a story in Newsday that the TBirds will do a Flyover of Yankee Stadium Sat at 4:05Pm and Citi Field Monday at 7:05 and an F-22 Raptor at the Brooklyn Cyclones game Tuesday at 7PM

I see they just updated the NYC Air Force Week website with those additional flyovers by the T-Birds and F-22.
It will be interesting to see if they still base the T-Birds out of ACY or somewhere closer to the NYC area now ??

I missed the KC-10 by about 2 mins. Just as I rolled past T4, I saw the bird lined up and cleared for take-off. Unfortunately I couldn't get my camera out and get a shot as she started rolling and disappeared quickly.
