I made my summer visit to JFK on Wednesday. Some interesting things I saw was that the AirTrain only has 1 track in operation, so waits are longer and trains are more crowded. The MTA buses have moved from T4 to T5; making for a longer trip. Jet Blue's T5 is very big with long white corridors but has moving walkways. Staff there was corteous and helpful. This unlike the staff behind the Brussels Airlines ticket window in T1 who pulled the brochure and luggage tag from my hand even after I told them I collect a baggage tag from each airline. Notable aircraft of interest I saw was the JetBlue green "NY Jets" Airbus; probably the only green livery in their fleet. Imagine a NY Giants blue aircraft for JetGreen! Also, the Emirates flight 203 was delayed and diverted to Madrid (a B777). Surprised to see a TransAero B744 depart to Moscow (EI-XLN) and an AeroSvit B767 in the new livery; stunning yellow and blue (UR-VVV). Had fun
