A Bonanza slammed into Kent St near Springfield Ave on November 26, 1999. Back then I wasn't into aviation, so my recent discovery of this surprised me quite a bit, as you never hear about plane crashes in Newark. In fact, that's the only post-WWII crash in Newark that I know of. Here's the article:
http://www.nytimes.com/1999/11/27/nyregion/3-die-as-plane-plows-into-newark-neighborhood.html?pagewanted=all&src=pm
And the crash brief:

http://www.ntsb.gov/aviationquery/brief.aspx?ev_id=20001212X20151&key=1
It was quite the mess. 3 fatalities on the plane, 1 on the ground, 25 injuries (including severe burns), 60 evacuees, 8 cars destroyed, and 18 structures were damaged. Crazy. I'd like to view photos of the crash site, specifically the destroyed cars and residences. Can't find any, though. Here are the NTSB publications on the event:
Report 1: http://dms.ntsb.gov/aviation/AccidentReports/nkhbk22djkwgp0i5rk1ar0551/H07182012120000.pdf
Report 2: http://dms.ntsb.gov/aviation/AccidentReports/r1bgwgeehdkqxq45xdqjmoac1/P07182012120000.pdf
Can anyone help me get some photos?
