Took a trip down to D.C. over the weekend and spent all of Friday spotting at Gravelly Point. I was rewarded with more than a few special schemes, as well as with some aircraft that have never crossed my lens...enjoy!

Yeah, the light was fantastic. The sunburn caused by the fantastic light? Not so fantastic.....

All in all, it was nice to finally get out and spot after a long break from it.

It's a great spot, no one hassles you about spotting...and it's easy to get to...I took the Metro to Crystal City in VA and walked along the Mt. Veron Trail to the park, took about 20 minutes....
