What. A. Morning. It was a great pleasure to finally meet Manny and Cary, and to meet up with William again. We got lucky with light on the first pass, that is for sure. I got the shot that I had worked a 2nd job to buy a new camera for, and all is well.
What a day, what a day. I honestly, don't have much to say for once.

Nick. Nice meeting you finally. Terrific photos you captured. I decided to join Cary for spotting at BWI 'til sunset..... So I am still on the road back to NY. Pictures to come although Nick covered the three passes well!
What an amazing experience. I never imagined it would be as emotional as it was!

Cool. I never would have thought to do that.
I assume that you did that so that you could more easily do a mobile upload?

Dan, easily? ha! You mean [at all]. I was 250 miles from my computer and CF card readers :-( So yeah, I wanted to tweet something so it was either LCD shot 9which looks horrible) or this which is less horrible but bad nonetheless
I think if I did not have a rubber eye-cup I could have gotten closer and more detail. It is used in Astrophotography a lot (eyepiece projection) but you need to be as close to the projection plane as possible and with my iPhone protective case and the rubber eye-cup, this is the best I could do. Oh, and Cary had to touch the screen to focus and adjust exposure lol.

I'm sorry I gave the picture a "slight yellow cast" when I touched the screen, Manny :frown:
