AMS 3/9 + IST 3/14

Hi all,

For spring break this year I traveled to Istanbul with a few friends. I flew KLM from IAD via AMS on the A330-200/737-800 and will shortly be heading for the airport to fly Air France back via CDG on the A320 and my first flight on the A380! This was my second time in Istanbul and I loved it just as much, if not more than the first time. The only downside was the weather which was rainy, cloudy, and cold for the duration.

I had a three hour layover in AMS on the way over and was very happy to spend some time on the terrace, although the weather was not the best. This afternoon I headed out to IST for a few hours for some spotting, although the weather was not great the location for spotting is fantastic. There is a mall located parallel to the main runway with a terrace and a food court offerring a view of the entire airport.
