Thanks, Fred.

Also, I know I probably left some unanswered questions in the article. Let me know if you have any.

excellent coverage! I had no idea you were onboard when we got her on film- you seated by the left side windows?

Thanks!

I was seated in an aisle seat on the right side of the middle section. On ZA003 the outboard sets of economy seats and all of the biz class seats are off-limits for takeoff and landing as they are "not certified." It was never really explained why...technically the whole plane is not certified for passenger use.

-What exactly does it smell like inside? Does the Carbon Fiber and plastics give it a different smell than that of aluminum alloys?
-I noticed the engines made close to zero noise on takeoff... actually, it looked like you were on one of those roller coaster rides where a piston just pushes on you.

Also seemed like a really short take off from start to rotate. Can you go into more detail on this fact? The engines are certainly not as big as a 777 yet they are made out to be magical. Indeed I don't remember the sound when you landed, and Cary and I were only ~170 meters away.
