Canon has announced the 5D Mark III...
New 22.3 MP sensor plus some "trickle down" features from the 1D-X.

They're also launching a new flash gun and wireless flash transmitter, PLUS a wireless file transmitter attachment and a GPS receiver for geotagging.

Sheesh, for that price I could have bought 2 7D's and a 24-105. I think I made out alright then. Guess I'll try to pick one of these up when the 5DIV comes out :cool:

Hope they still stock the 5DMkII...$3500 is a bit much for me to think about. Maybe the MkII's price will start to be discounted???

I bought my Mk II new in December for $1,999. The price will most likely return to that, and Canon have said the Mk II will remain a current model.
