The jet is a BAC Jet Provost trainer / light attack aircraft. It looks to be G-PROV (http://www.jetprovostheaven.com/jpt4/g-prov.html) the last Mk 52 Jet Provost still operational. It is now civilian-owned by Swords Aviation, and wears South Arabian Air Force markings (later to be South Yemen) It was operated by that air force in the late 1970s, after being withdrawn from service with the RAF.
