http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2084242/Airbus-A380-Worlds-biggest-planes-sky-worthy-say-engineers.htmlDisregard title or mods can change. Seems Airbus is taking the position these cracks can be fixed during routine mx. Hmmmm.

Nowhere in that article does it say that the planes were actually grounded. Just that some engineers suggested it.

I just won't stand under it for a couple months until they are all fixed. :)

How is it that LH doesn't have any cracks but the other operators do? Wierd

I know I asked to edit title.

How do we know nobody else does? It may have been kept quiet. Very interesting. If an engineer makes that bold a claim as to the whole fleet needing to be grounded maybe he feels they are more than just little cracks.

Gentle.....Not. Easy answer? Chance. Perhaps its just a matter of time.

Saw this article last week. Seems odd (and refreshing) that the media didn't make a huge fuss about it.

Not one thread on anet either that is amazing. My hat is off to damage control at Airbus. Well done.

Note to Airbus: This thread can be deleted, too! Make checks payable to NYCAviation...

I was thinking the same thing. I bet the pro Airbus crowd at anet went nuts on the threads there. I think only a grounding would have been considered newsworthy.
