This feature will be very useful when doing work at FRG Warbirds Under The Stars

WT-5 Wireless Transmitter with web-browser camera control interface
With the D4 comes a new WiFi transmitter, the WT-5, which is a neat little unit that screws onto the side of the body and draws it's power from the camera's battery. Its real party trick, though, is a built-in web browser-based remote camera control interface that doesn't require you to download or install a specialized app. Essentially, you can log into your camera (with a username and password) using your laptop, tablet or smartphone and its standard web browser, at which point you're presented with a camera control panel with live view feed. You can adjust a wide range of parameters - exposure mode, shutter speed, aperture, exposure compensation, ISO, white balance and so on, and initiate remote shutter release or video recording.

I will eventually replace my D3 with the D4... but I must first get a DX (crop sensor) camera to replace my now absent D2Xs ...

I hope they announce a replacement lens for the 80-400mm. The D800 specs aren't too bad either.

a bunch of people were saying on nikon rumors that the differences between the D3 family and the D4 it isn't worth the upgrade(I know, there's a bunch of tools on that site). For six grand I kind of have to agree- I don't really think the D3S was suffering from sensitivity, speed, or AF issues. Plus what's the deal with releasing this new card standard before there are peripherals (readers) that are widely available for it? Right now it looks like it's just Sony. I also think they screwed the pooch on resolution, they should have kept the 24MP sensor that was in the 3X. But what do I know, I still shoot at 3fps with my noob 10.2MP D40x.

Manny I hear the D7000 calling your name!
