I had the opportunity to shoot the band of one of my closest friends while visiting my family in the Worcester MA area last week. Tough shooting with constant light changes and high ISO, and first go at a concert. Thoughts?

Jeremy...nice shots for shootign your first concert. I got to try my hand at that for the first time at the end of the summer. It was fun, and I only had the ability to open up to f/4.0 whereas I'm sure you had the ability to go to f/2.8. Like I'm sure you discovered, it is definitely a challenging thing to photograph, especially with all the constant lighting changes.

Good job!

Excellent! Could've fooled me that it was your first concert. I love the focus on the shot of the keyboardist and how you captured the light rays in that next-to-last shot.

Your friend owns a nice Les Paul(even though it's an Epi:cool:)

Really good, especially considering the poor lighting. Blue and purple flood lights are hard to work with, and red is completely terrible, particularly with Canon DSLRs.
