Iberia A340-600
2011-12-27, 02:38 PM
As of June 1, 2012 Brussels Airlines will begin their first Transatlantic route with the introduction of daily BRU-JFK-BRU flights operated by the A330-300. It is unclear yet as to which terminal Brussels will be using but I wouldn't be surprised to see them in Terminal 8. In Summer S12 there will be 6 daily flights between New York and Brussels with Delta (JFK-BRU), American (JFK-BRU), United (EWR-BRU), Jet Airways (EWR/JFK-BRU), and now Brussels Airlines. It will be interesting to see how Jet Airways is affected by the introduction of this route as they currently code-share/partner with Brussels for connecting flights through Europe, although they certainly have the best Y product on the route.
