Plane Spotting guide for PBIA/tip

Hey guys i'm thinking about going to Palm beach international Airport this weekend and do a bit of plane spotting there but the thing is i was wondering about any tips you could give me..you know best place to be the right time ect, and im not sure if palm beach international airport has a plane spotting community like fort lauderdale international Airport Fl does. so any tips would be nice and i might use my 178 mm camera film/digital and i was wondering would a 28 mm digital camera work for video recording or taking photos? :S thanks Lucas

I could be wrong, but looking at those sample photos, I doubt it.

i have a 178 mm film camera that has automatic zoom would that work?
