I never realized that United didn't fly 747's to JFK.

ORD seems to be one of the most under-spotted major fields in the US...good to see some great shots!

Those are some nice shots you got there. Would love to see some of those at JFK, like and Etihad T7, or the United 744. Too bad it probably wouldn't happen.

ORD seems to be one of the most under-spotted major fields in the US...good to see some great shots!

From what I've heard is that with the runway configuration at ORD its hard to spot and get constant action. Was that the case Doug? Or were they set up pretty good on one particular runway while you were spotting.

It's not the easiest airport to spot,but runway 10 gets most of the heavies and it is the easiest runway to watch. You can see planes taking off and landing on other runways as well,but they are too far away for taking pictures.

That would be great! This past weekend was only the second time that I've watched planes at ORD.
