Gotta figure flying into Newark then Marine 1 flight around NJ then an LZ somewhere around Paterson, NJ to do a land tour and stop.

Here is the translated NOTAM: POTUS will arrive EWR somewhere between 1130 & 1245L, then depart between 1500-1615L.


FDC NOTAM 1/7395 and 1/7396 have replaced NOTAMS 1/7219 and 1/7217 for the Newark/Paterson, NJ area. The original NOTAMS were based on the TEB VOR. The TEB VOR is under water so the TFR is now based on the LGA VOR. There are a few changes and we have updated the information below.



In summary, GA operations will be prohibited at the following airports during the specified times on September 4, 2011:



· EWR (Newark International Airport) – 1130L-1245L (1530z-1645z) and again between 1500L-1615L (1900z-2015z). Some approach and departure paths will not be available at EWR between 1200L-1545L (1600z-1945z).



· JRA/JRB/6N5 (Manhattan Heliports) - 1130L-1245L (1530z-1645z) again between 1500L-1615L (1900z-2015z). Some approach and departure paths will not be available at these heliports between 1200L-1545L (1600z-1945z).



· TEB (Teterboro Airport) -1200L-1545 local (1600z-1945z). Some approach and departure paths will not be available at TEB between 1130L-1245L (1530z-1645z).



· CDW (Essex County Airport) -1200L-1545 local (1600z-1945z). Some approach and departure paths will not be available at CDW between 1130L-1245L (1530z-1645z).





A 10NM TFR centered on LGA260015.2 prohibits GA operations at Newark International Airport (EWR) and all downtown Manhattan Heliports (JRA/JRB/6N5) between 1130L-1245L (1530z-1645z) and again between 1500L -1615L (1900z -2015z) on September 4, 2011.



***Due to their proximity to this 10NM TFR, certain operations at Morristown Municipal Airport (MMU), Teterboro Airport (TEB), Essex County Airport (CDW), and LaGuardia International Airport (LGA) may not be available during the above times.***



A second 10NM TFR centered on LGA311016.2 prohibits GA operations at Teterboro Airport (TEB) and Essex County Airport (CDW) between 1200L-1545L (1600z-1945z) on September 4, 2011.

A 30 NM TFR has additional restrictions as specified in the NOTAM between the 10NM ring and 30NM ring from 1200L-1545L (1600z-1945z) on September 4, 2011.



An “outer ring” TFR, consisting of the lateral limits of the New York Class B airspace, prohibits GA operations from the surface up to but not including 18,000’ MSL between 1500L-1615L (1900z-2015z).
