Went spotting with my dad today at several locations- Bayswater Park, The Mounds, and the warehouse facility on Rockaway Turnpike just under 22L

Thanks guys! Lots of fun stuff out there today. Just missed 2 separate A380s, kind of mad about that. Hopefully ill get out again soon. And yea, I mean today. Can a mod please change that?

sweet... great day even if it was a bit slow at times. Gotta love the BUGS!!! I say bring back spring, fall and winter spotting :tongue:

Wow, that first shot is fantastic!
And yea, the bugs are us alive at the mounds and we only stayed for a few minutes. I am itching like crazy today!

Great shots guys.

Manny, I love the shot of Korean with the reflection as well. Nice work. Mark, where was your shot of the Korean A380 taken from?

Manny.........nice shot of the Korean A380 with the reflection. Like you stated.........a little high but it works.

Steve..........my shot of the Korean was taken from the side of the road (I basically pulled over in to the weeds and waited for the Korean with my hazards flashing). By no means it's a place to be spotting from. To much traffic and too many wires and obstructions.

Your camera is likely fine :-) with a little more technique you will get better results. NExt time, come up to any one of us. I am surprised you did not run into us as we shared the same spots. Not many places to hide at The Mounds or Bayswater :tongue:

I looked around but did not see anyone. Only stayed at The Mounds for a few mintues as we got bitten up really bad. (the spotting guide did not lie). I hope to go back out on Friday, anyone else?
