I had to read the article three times to make sure I read it correctly...it was being TOWED! It was not under power, where the heck were the wing walkers????

Well Tom and I have discussed this. A large component of the 380 is that Airbus needs something to stand out. First it had the fastest, now the largest.


That said, they wingtip sheared right off, right?

It did, they flew it to Tolouse and fixed it in a few hours, but it didn't fly the planned demo. A Korean Air A380 flew instead.
