JFK Lufthansa A380 info

Until further notice Lufthansa will be flying both the LH400 and LH404 to JFK with their A380. As they pull their A380 from the tokyo route until further notice. So on a good day you might catch both of them instead of the 2 747's.

Actually they have not used the B747 much... At least while I have been there. Sunday for example there were the 2 A380s, no A330 and the A340 during visible hours

actually since they do not have enough a380 every other day is the 747.

I don't disbelieve you, but, I can't deny what I see with my own eyes :-) On the last few Sunday's and Saturday's, no 747s

Lufthanas currently has 5 A380's the Frankfurt, Munich, Beijing, Tokyo and New York. They currently fly to Beijing, Johannesburg, New York, and Tokyo is off the routes for now. 3 cities 5 planes. Also I know I just flew back on a 747 just a 1.5 week ago from frankfurt, and went to fra on a a380. It is just a matter of their flight plan. When SFO and MIA in May and June gets the a380, we will see it go back to the lh404 747 and the lh400 A380. :wink:
