Way too tight of an LZ. They should have used the clearing they ended up in.

So what's the procedure here? What kind of damage was likely done to the chopper? If he wanted, would he have been able to continue to his destination?

Wow, you can't fix stupid.

Not only was that way too tight of a LZ but how about how close the EMS personal were standing? If the pilot had caught a gust & clipped the high tension wires, they would have been lit up like a Christmas Tree.

Very lucky here.

I'm sure there was some rotor damage. If you listen there sounds like a wooble sound from the rotors.

Usually the Pilot in command has the right to do what ever he needs as long as he does not make the situation worse.

as mentioned earlier, sounds like rotor damage

If he wanted, would he have been able to continue to his destination?

An Unbalanced rotor is a dangerous thing, he may make it a mile, 50 miles or 100 miles...Like riding a flat at 100mph, it can work, but for how long. With a car, it is not like falling out of the sky so flying would be a major fail if you have any shimmy in the stick.
