Decided to side track myself on the way home from work, and it paid off. Finally caught the Air One and some of the usual cast of characters. Aero Mexico has a 100th anniversary logo which I haven't seen before. The late afternoon light was awesome.

Great shots Mark. I did regret to have come home too late to catch some of this awesome light we had today.

Air One... !!! have only seen it parked at the gate over by the Alitalia area ...

That's were I saw it last time as well.........but Air One came in under an Alitalia flight number. I believe it came in under AZ0608 or something like that , it was due in at 2:10pm but came in late (thank goodness!). I'm hoping to be out very early tomorrow morning (hoping to catch the Jet Blue with the new scheme), and hoping to catch the Finnair MD-11 as well, but this time I'll be sticking to my post at Inwood no matter what ATC says.

Nice Shots Mark. I was out there for about an hour or so before they changed runways. I could see Qantas on the Horizon as they were changing runways. 31 to 22.

We have that Finnair MD-11 comming in again like on the 30th? We heard something but it never showed.

Did you happen to shoot the JetBlue A320 that arrived before Air One landed? That airbus would have been me operated as JBU1009

Finnair Cargo sends an MD-11 on fridays only..
