Boeing announced today that deliveries of its new 787 Dreamliner would be pushed back to the third quarter of 2011 to allow for the testing of new software and electrical equipment in the wake of a fire on-board a November test flight.

Well that is better than I personally had thought the delay would be, but not much better. Another in a long line of delays for this beautiful bird and hopefully the last.
