The world of spotting is pretty new to me, although I've always liked photography and planes. I decided to go through some digital images that I haven't looked through since I purchase my first DSLR with a kit lens. Here are some images I didn't even know I had. All of these are from JFK.

Very cool, especially seeing a JAL 747 again. Thanks for sharing. Been trying to get my scanner working again myself as I have a bunch of old shots I would love to get up.

The Abx shot was caught on Jul 3, 2007, the oldest shot in the bunch is the World Airways Cargo which was taken on Nov. 23, 2006

Came across some more digital photo's from Oct and Nov of 2006. These where taken from Charles Park when they were departing off 31L. Not the greatest images, but nevertheless some stuff you don't see any more (at least for the Thai and the old JAL scheme). Enjoy

Great shots; I wish I could take the photos you guys do. Love the TWA L-1011 and the Lufthansa DC-10. And obviously the departing clipper. Concorde is close to my heart as it is an integral part of my current MA thesis. Thanks for sharing.

Mark I can't figure out which of the last two I want to keep looking at- the JAL 747 and the CX A340 shots are sublime. Also I didn't know the Jamaican A340 came to NY- I thought they used that strictly for European routes. Wish I would ahve caught that bugger.

2003, I remember the Biman DC10s, and the Aeromar ships,along with Concorde,and the last 747-200s in Alitalia colors , I was flying a Champion 727 out of JFK that year, we were the last scheduled pax 727 to operate out of JFK, on the Cancun,and Punta Cana runs. That was a very good year,great flying,people,location.
