Delta has flew the last of the 5 Delta NWA colors DC-9-40s. Sad to see these birds go.. They are all on the ground at SFB..

Saw one at DTW just a few days ago. Glad I snagged a shot.

I managed to catch N760NW landing at PHL last month, and knew then that that was probably the last NW-painted DC-9 I would ever see in real life.

I can't wait for when we only have 3 domestic carriers! That should make for some great spotting.:frown:

It's very sad to see those go. I've flown on them many, many times, and Northwest will always be remembered.
My only Northwest shot on Jetphotos is a DC9-40 N763NW
