While cleaning up a closet at home I found a few canisters of unprocessed film/slides and found these. The can was slightly damaged and I think some light leaked through. I had them developed and scanned and indeed there was some damage. Oh well. I can't really tell you much more than it was taken with a really cheap lens and camera circa 2000 lol. If I remember anything at all it was my first time at Gravely Point and was in Alexandria VA for business.

If you can identify year, airlines or otherwise, cool. It was spotting when I didn't even know there was such a hobby!

Thanks guys... I didn't imagine ANY of them would have any value in any way :-) Why is the TWA one a good catch? Again, remember I am new to spotting! ;-)

Just a blast from the past, I would say. Any shot of the mighty Trans World brings to mind their legacy from aviation's "golden age". Every one could serve as a history lesson; they were a juggernaut in paving the way for commercial carriers. Brings back a lot of fond memories. Just my humble opinion. I only have a few TWA shots and I can remember taking each one, which is more than I can say about the thousands of other shots in my collection.

I see... in that case I totally understand. To me they were like the AT&T of the airline world... a behemoth and powerful airline, like Pan Am etc.

Wow, Continental, American, Delta, and TWA MD-80s! Where have the days gone????
