Continental Airlines was found "criminally responsible" for the crash of Air France Flight 4590, the Paris Concorde disaster which killed all 109 on board.

Wow that is really sad. From what is publicly known, I do not believe it is ANYONE's fault and it is a "hazard" that is sort of there to happen. What if the administration of Charles De Gaulle did a FOD sweep before each flight? That would have prevented the accident.

I think in any case of criminal finding, you need intent and I think that Continental or its engineers did NOT intend to kill people or to cause harm to anyone or to bring down another aircraft either on purpose or accidentally.

But then again I am not a lawyer and I was not at the trials...

In my mind, this is a sad finding !
