Well life conspired to allow me some time outside shooting today, with weather being so nice/no job searching to be done this afternoon/having a car again. Decided to head down to BFI and then the flows changed and I attempted to get shots with Mount Rainier as backdrop (though SEA tower didn't want to give me a chance landing all but 1 flight on the center runway).

Also, the title is a bit misleading for this first post as I will not be able to get to the Seatac shots until later, but will add those tonight/tomorrow.

Hmmm now I see it. Different cowling for sure. Got me wondering if there is something more to it. Will go back and look at other shots I have have this bird.

Edit: After going back and looking at some of my previous shots, the cover has definitely changed for the #2 engine. Not sure why though and unfortunately my previous shot of 521 was in early September.

And here is some shots of my venture to Seatac. I was trying for Mount Rainier in the background, but the tower only cooperated on the first plane that landed when getting there and that failed to come out. Shame since it was great light.

I love that shot of the Beaver and the Greener.

Also on the cowling it was probably just swapped out. Look at half of QX's cowlings. They don't match either.

I can;t get over the quality of the light on that first US Air! Very clean, crisp and perfectly exposed... You guys do more for tourism than the state does :-)
