Effective April 26, 2011 Turkish Airlines will be increasing their 7 weekly IST-JFK-IST flight to 14 weekly flights. Turkish has previously operated additional flights in the summer season but not daily. The new flight, TK011/012, will be operated by new factory fresh 777-300ER aircraft recently delivered to the airline. These aircraft have a 777 code in the flight schedule whereas the Jet Airways 777-300ER operated by Turkish has a 77W code.
The schedule for the new flight will be as follows:
