Well I love the mountain shot alot, and now that I am getting better with photoshop I can create that shot whenever I want with whatever planr I want to now! My first real edit of anysorts in a while, feel free to share some feedback. But now I need to go shoot the mountain in all times of the day. http://www.projectopensky.com/public/style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif

Ha! Don't you wish for motion HDR? Well, do try Pseudo HDR with your RAW files. Opt to just slightly overexpose the image so you have more range on the shadow range of the data since the digital file has so little reserved for it.

I also woul set the camera to the lowest settings for the JPGs so your preview image in the back does not fool you into thinking the wrong exposure. At least on Nikon, they use the JPG file instead of the RAW data to display the blinkies which is just bad as it will usually mean underexposed shots. I also dial the brightness of the rear screen somewhat in order to also expose more correctly.

Keep em coming . When I was there last time, I noticed that the mountain looks at lot further away from Bellevue than in your shots. Perhaps the compression effect is that great?

That was shot from spot a or b from the spotters guide at SEA with the 100-400. Might be why it seems larger

ya need to select the aircraft only, then select>Modify>contract by just a few pixel..... then Select Inverse (so you only have the outside few pixels of the aircraft selected and then grab your blur tool (I SAID TOOL!) and blur the edges. That will make the airplane seem to fall into the image and will not have the edited look. Anytime you add something into any photo you need to do this so it looks like is was there and not like a cutout dropped on the image.

P.S. I would add more grain before that as the backround had grain and Flightsim does not. My $ .02

I'll try that, thanks!
