Sharing my shots from SXM

I have been down to St. Maarten quite a bit in the last year. My girlfriend is currently a Medical Student there and I have spent a bit of time at the infamous "Maho Beach" at the apron of the SXM Runway. Anyway here are a few of my favorite pictures I have taken over the last year and change. Just taken on basic point and shoot digitals, but my trips to the beach have made me curious about other aircraft photos and is how I found this site.

I absolutely LOVE the shots from the water :-) Did you have the prerequisite Umbrella Drink? That's got to be a spotters paradise: Spotting, Piña Coladas, The BEach... Heaven! lol

Being that I had access to a condo less than a 1 minute drive away I made quite a few Guavaberry Coladas and drank my share of Amstel Brights while sitting on that beach.

I must get there one day. Like the idea of traveling only with a fisheye lens for spotting :tongue:
