Fast Sunrise From Altitude

I filmed this with my blackberry a couple of weeks ago on the way back from my first Florida weekend of the season. We left RSW at 0630 in the morning in pitch black and were at altitude in time for a spectacular sunrise... My seat mate shortly there after asked if I could shut the window shades... I guess not everyone is a morning person. :p

Love sunrises / sets from up high.

LOL... Fist bump! I love sunrise and sunset in flight. In the cabin it creates such a nice melding of light and lack there of.... One of the best sunrises in the world to me at least is during the winter and early spring.. If you depart LGA on 4 or 31 pre dawn on one of the 6AM departures or there abouts, by the time you are passing south of NYC the sun is coming up and the reflections off of the Atlantic, Long Island and the Jersey shore are fantastic....
