Police: Dead man's head was covered in a bag, hands were bound
LOS ANGELES — A police official said a body was found inside a men's restroom stall at Los Angeles International Airport.
Authorities told the Los Angeles Times that the man's body was slumped in a stall at Terminal 3. The man's head had been covered in a bag and his hands were bound, the newspaper reported.
Robbery homicide Capt. Kevin McClure said the body was discovered about 8 a.m. Wednesday. The cause of death was not immediately clear. Nor was it apparent if the death was a suicide or a homicide, police said.
Detectives from the LAPD's main homicide unit were on the scene.
A call to an airport spokeswoman was not immediately returned.
