I was by Ashe Stadium yesterday taking a nap when suddenly I was awakened at 1537 and opened my eyes to see a group of fighters doing a fly-by. They flew directly over my head but had no time to get my point-and-shoot camera ready. I totally forgot about the fly-over to begin the Men's Finals. Of course, they never returned and LGA halted all departures for several minutes. Also, I was disappointed not to see the Direct TV airship overhead. I guess it wasn't contracted to return since the Final was supposed to be on Sunday when it got rained-out. How many fighters were there and where did they come from?
