I've seen and read mentions of acars information on the site and read of spotters knowing what a/c are on their way to jfk ?
is this information on line somewhere ?

I don't know about ACARS, but you can see what aircraft are coming in by going to Flightaware.com and entering in 'KJFK' into the airport search box.
