Never much of a Lupica fan but a very well written article and said the things that needed to be said about Obama and Bloomberg.

The things said about Bloomberg regarding smoking and drinking are quality of life issues. Building a mosque has nothing to do with th quality of life around that area. This entire Mosque thing is getting way out of control. Do people even realize that there were Muslims who were in towers and died that day as well (not the animals who hijacked the planes). I will say Obama needs to butt out of local politics and worry more about the big picture.

I am suprised Obama got into this because now it has backfired on him and he looks terrible. On the heels of a tough election he should have stayed miles from this one. I would have concentrated on the Gulf and riding that momentum to attack BP and get the working people back on his side because he is losing them quickly.
