Optimum Email down now 24 hours--Nothing from Cablevision...

Optimum on line email has been down for over 24 hours now--can't get through to customer service or tech support chat.
The recording only says they're working on it, and those who have gotten through get NO information.

This is what happens when you have a monopoly-- NO accountability.

Can't wait for FIOS to come to my neighborhood....

I agree with you Art...there is really no exuse for this, if your primary servers go down why don't you have a backup server that kicks in?

Why are cable companies so irresponsible? I'm not a Comcast customer (yet) but have heard their customer support and all around product quality sucks...

Optimum says its a glitch and they will have it up as soon as possible. Better than nothing I guess.

I'm pretty annoyed with Verizon right now because their CS stinks and the FIOS salesmen will promise you the world to sign up.

Art, I hear ya, but my issues have been with Time Warner. I made the switch and I'll be a new man in a few days.

Current Time Warner "Deal": Internet (10 down, 2 up), TV, DVR for $140 after taxes.

New Fios DEAL: Internet (15 down, 5 up!), TV, DVR and PHONE for $110 after taxes! We then upgraded for only $10 more to 25 up and down on the internet.

Not to mention.......NHL NETWORK. :borat: :mrgreen: :twisted:

My grandma has Cablevision/Optimum/iO or whatever you want to call stand the router and TV boxes (on another note here) are garbage. Really no excuse for this to happen though. We have AT&T U-Verse which is AT&Ts fiber optic, and were very happy with it.
