These aren't really "new" flights persay. AA is removing mainline service to ATL from LGA and replacing it with Eagle. These will be operated with CRJ-700s which AE has not used before at LGA. The 700s are being upgraded with F class cabins currently.

I wouldnt say that AA is removing mainline and replacing it with Eagle. AA stopped flying LGA-ATL back in I believe 2008. They are restarting it again (along with MSP and CLT) with Eagle -700s.

American Eagle starts nonstop flights between Chicago and Tri-Cities with an ERJ-140, and also on La Guardia to Atlanta with CRJ-700s, which is a new aircraft type for LGA.

AA Eagle has started phase 1 of it's 2 class CRJ-700 operations at LGA with 5 (weekday) roundrips to ATL. By late August they will be at 19 per weekday to ATL/CLT/RDU/YYZ and Oct 1st 4 more to MSP for a total of 23 per weekday. Will be interesting to see how their First Class service is on these birds.
