The brand new toy for the UAE paid a visit to the New York area this weekend, first arriving to JFK on Friday and then parking at SWF for the weekend. She will be departing sometime tomorrow, headed back to Abu Dhabi. A6-SIL is the first private 777-300 and was originally destined for Jet Airways.

The first and last shot reminds me why I'm not a fan of 777-300 ramp shots, the thing is simply too long.

However the 2nd shot with engine/wing/gear motive is beastly, and I'm not usually a fan of close-up/cut-off planes. The nose shot looks almost from another era with the cheatline and name on the nose, good one.

The -300 is HUGE indeed...I love this scheme and am jealous you got her.
The shot from the ground is my favorite...I like that angle.

Figures something would show up when I was away- AS ALWAYS. As I was leaving it started pretty for its flight back to JFK.
United Arab Emirates 777-300 A6-SIL. This one compliments my UAE 777-200 nicely.
Thanks for the phone call while I was in DC Gordon.

I have two instances of the same shot. Witch one do you like better?

Nice catch, and the second one. Looks like it has a bit more vibrant color in the sky.

And the absence of the Ford Escort too.
