After an exhausting eight months I'm a in a my owna house! Imagine me Giuseppi Martini, I owna my owna house! Liz and I bought a great cape in Franklin Square. We closed on Monday and finally got all the furniture and all the other good stuff moved in today! And man what a view of the JFK runway 22 arrivals do I have!! Pics to come after all the boxes are cut up and thrown away!

It's Lawn Guyland, Giuseppi

Congratulations Mike! That's a nice area - I grew up in Elmont, and my folks still live there, so I'm familiar with the view. Good luck, and I hope we get to see you out spotting a little more - or maybe you will host an NYCA Backyard Spotting BBQ... :borat:

I grew up in Baldwin. Lawn Guyland is a great place. In fact, I've been out for 11 years (almost) in Florida (I was 9 when I left) and I still have an accent. Now that I'm going back this wednesday, well let's just say whatever was lost will return. Congrats on your new home. Best wishes and good luck!

You can take the New Yorker out of New York...but you can't take the New York out of the New Yorker.
