UA973 Shows up on orbitz through mid May at least.

I just flew this route April 13th

It is scheduled to end August 30th last I was told, unless otherwise indicated.

Definitely worth flying, had a great time!

Jeremy, while I cant help out with this if you know anyone at UA that can give you a buddy pass you would probably have a decent shot at getting J or F because these aircraft have such large premium cabins, currently F12 J52 Y310.

Back in the day United had the largest domestic wide body ops, probably my 2 favorite United flights ever where both on the 777, IAD-SEA and LAX-MIA. United retired the DC-10 and 747-200 the same week in 2001 (pre 9-11) so I took a farewell all widebody UA flight the last week of service. After positioning to ORD on AA I flew the following as a pass rider.
ORD-DEN 747-200 in J
DEN-SF0 747-400 in J
SFO-ORD DC-10 in Y
ORD-B0S 767-300 in J

It was an awesome trip.

I flew on a UA Buddy Pass on a Tuesday no less. With UA allowing free upgrades to F and J now, it is more rare than ever for NR to actually GET F and J upfront now.

We didn't even get E+ on the flight had to sit in actual economy, the agent felt bad so she gave me and my buddy a whole row so that helped a bit.

I have access to UA loads and every day it goes out full w/ Revenue in F/J, but Y not so much.

Well I am plotting my trip now. SEA-SFO AS. SFO-ORD UA and then ORD-SEA AS.

They do.

It's flight 54 SFO-ORD leaving at 6am arriving into ORD at 12:09pm. For tomorrow it is booked 319/310 in Y.

Yes, $50 vis ID-90. Also they have a 777 from DEN-LAX I found out when I was there.
