Hello,

So I am planning a trip down to Seattle one of these coming saturdays. I have done a little research through flightaware to find out what saturdays look like in terms of aircraft and airlines. My question is, after seeing the spotting guide on this website which locations are the most used and what locations are good for the mornings and the afternoon. Also for 34 landings(doesnt matter which runway) where is a good place to setup and hang out down there as I looked at the location on google earth and it doesnt look very inviting. Thanks for any input. As a side note I would also like to catch the 787 landing at BFI that day if its on a test flight. Where at BFI are the friendly spots to take photos from for either runway assuming its flight test is in the afternoon and the sun is beaming in from the west?

Hi Matt,
Please check out the Boeing Field guide as well: http://nycaviation.com/spotting-guides/bfi/. The spots on the map all work in the afternoon and get better until sundown.
The guide for SeaTac lists the following for direction for 34 northbound ops:
Directions: You can access this location from the 509 or the 99 by turning onto 188th. Park along the street at 16th Ave S and then walking to your favored location is advisable. Do not park along 188th Street itself.

If you have any questions on Seattle feel free to write me at [email protected]. I live and work in the city :-)

Hinestly though they will probably be using 16 as it is not summer time yet.
