Hey

I'm interested in going to New York this summer. I love the area around Madison Square Park. Someone who has a tip for an inexpensive hotel / hostel around the area?

What kind of hotel are you looking for? The MAve is a new boutique hotel on Madison and 27th or 28th and can have some good deals. If you're looking for something really nice, you'll probably have to look around Herald Square/Times Square (not a long walk/bus ride to Mad. Sq. Pk.).

I'd recommend using hotwire or priceline. Mad Sq Pk is easily accessible from any midtown hotel.
