Spent around 5 hours at PBI today - it was busy with biz-jets all day - very busy today. I have masses of editing to do from today - but - I thought I'd share a few from today. It's been a long time since I was at PBI - the runways have changed - they are now 10L/10R east bound instead of 9L/9R and obviously 28L/R for the reverse. The other change is the cross runway used to be 13/31 - it is now 14/32 - the earth has moved :)

I've been trying to catch the Trauma Hawk helicopter for a long time - finally - it came back from a mission - had to fly around the end of 28R before landing at it's base on the west of the field

Highlight of the day for me - I was just about to pack up and leave when this arrived - so I hung around for the 1 1/2 hours turnaround time - went to the west side of the field - and caught her in perfect afternoon sunlight!

I saw this depart, arrive and depart again - and - each departure - the usual GLEX performance - 3000' of runway - it's up in the air..

Nice Mark. I was doimng the same up here in Tampa Today. Sans camera since the Mrs had it today. I realized that TPA is a very mundane airport. At least in 2 weeks I have a choice of 3 to spot from.

im not a 100% sure, obv correct me if im wrong, but i remember hearing a few years ago that there are only a handful of G3's with tip tanks, one of my friends actually flew one not to long ago, when i find the pics ill post them up

That is a G2 with tip tanks. There are indeed a few out there. One used to come into SRQ all the time. I do not know if the 3 had it but that is a 2 and the one I used to get in SRQ was also a 2.

Oh Ryan, there are no G3's with tip tanks. All the tip tankers are G-II's, and they are becoming harder and harder to find.

Any time John! Come around a golf tournament in the area - there's a lot more heavy metal around - some interesting reg's too - M- (Isle of Man), lots of European reg's.

If I am not mistaken there are only two airplanes registered to Isles Of Man and one is a Challenger.

Definitely a lot more than 2 on the IOM register.

I agree - I've seen at least 4 or 5 different reg's at Bombardier at FLL, and one I know I've shot was M-ROWL which was a Falcon.

According to the Isle of Man (Manx) Aircraft Register website...there are approximately 225 aircraft registered there as of today, with three more pending.
