I applaud the industry's move to use more retroschemes. One wonders why certain schemes were phased out over the years.....I need not wonder anymore

Holy crap, I just saw that shot on JP myself. That is a cool shot. It is quite SAS'ed out though.

Looks nice but a little too similar to the old SAS. THAI's best scheme is still the one they had until a few years ago If anything just a little update was all that was needed.

Instead of only 1 aircraft in retro scheme it'd be great if most airlines stopped painting only the tails and went back to the 70s and 80s designs with color on the fuselage, and not the candywrapper-peacock crap it's fashionable now with color only on one part of the aircraft.

Iberia, KLM, Alitalia, Korean, Thai, Singapore, etc. Most of the best liveries and logo trademarks of the major airlines appeared in the late 60's and 1970s.

Talked to someone on the SAS note and apparently when Thai was started SAS owned 40% of Thai and actually flew with this livery hence the SAS retro look to it. I think that is pretty cool.

Kenny I love the purple, that's one of my favorite colors. Kept the classic logo which is great also. BUT 2/3rds of the plane is just too white so I gotta look at it with one eye closed. All that white is blinding me lol
