Another trip up to JFK, to catch the CX Oneworld and Wunala Dreaming...which came an hour late...in darkness  Also, Delta Habi-crap-please-don't-go-to-31L-again landed on the left side...again.

Really nice shots, Cary. I guess that PIA departure must have been a very delayed flight?

Thanks Gordon...yeah, the PIA caught me by surprise. I don't normally shoot departures in the afternoon, but I was pretty sure that a daylight departure of a PIA 777 was a bit out of the ordinary. It operated as PIA712 to Manchester.

I enjoyed your pictures. Fantastic light!

Did you get a priority screen or did you pull the water-marked pictures out of the waiting-for-screening pile and then host them yourself on photobucket? For the water mark?

Just curious,
Dan

Unfortunately, no priority screening for me...I get to wait in line like everyone else. Yes, I just pull them from my queue and host them on Photobucket for the watermark. Of course, I can make my own watermarks, but I've found that's just the fastest solution.

Thanks John...we got about 18-20 inches here in Central NJ...but they didn't seem to get much at all up by JFK. We're supposed to get another 14-20 during this storm

Just use Photoshop...or if you don't have it, use GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/). A simple way is just to make text and add some transparency. Google "watermark" and there will be plenty of stuff on it.
