While not in the schedules yet, Emirates is planning to resume A380 operations to JFK on EK201/202 effective October 31, 2010*.

Sweet.
Coincidentally, Emirates took delivery of their 8th A380 today, which will likely be the first A380 with special paint to keep an eye out for JFK...it has a big "6,000th Airbus Aircraft" title in front of the Emirates title.

Not sure if the guy is an employee, seems more like a FF. Also this is subject to many factors like their future deliveries, fuel prices and mx issues. I found this one today.

I hope this isn't a pattern we have seen the same issues with Qantas, AF and Emirates.

They should have a few more 380s by October...they'll need to fly them SOMEwhere.
